Two former Super Bowl MVPs take center stage as Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers visit Nick Foles and the Chicago Bears at 8:20 p.m. ET on Thursday Night Football. Brady is coming off an impressive performance in Tampa Bay’s Week 4 victory, throwing for 369 yards and five touchdowns. Meanwhile, Foles struggled mightily in his first start for Chicago, completing just 26-of-42 pass attempts for 249 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Which veteran quarterback should you build your NFL DFS lineups arounds on Thursday night? And which NFL DFS stacks can lead you to victory?

Who are the value NFL DFS picks lower on the price list who can free up cap space for the bigger names? Before crafting your NFL DFS strategy for Thursday Night Football and the rest of Week 5, be sure to see the NFL DFS advice, player rankings and top daily Fantasy football picks from SportsLine’s Mike McClure, a DFS pro who has won almost $2 million.

McClure crushed his NFL DFS picks in 2019, finishing as high as the top 1 percent of tournaments on DraftKings and returning as much as 40x return in some higher-stakes tournaments. He then continued his roll in the postseason, cashing on every single lineup he posted for the divisional round. Anyone who followed him saw some huge returns.

In his Week 4, McClure identified Panthers running back Mike Davis as one of his core lineup plays on FanDuel. The result: Davis erupted for 111 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown — returning 19.6 Fantasy points. Anybody who put him in their NFL DFS lineups was well on their way to a profitable day.

Now, he has turned his attention to the Bears vs. Buccaneers DFS player pool and locked in his top daily Fantasy football picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top Bears vs. Buccaneers NFL DFS picks

One of McClure’s top NFL DFS picks for Thursday Night Football is Bucs quarterback Tom Brady. Tampa Bay is dealing with several injuries on offense, but the six-time Super Bowl champion didn’t miss a beat last week against the Chargers, even with Chris Godwin (hamstring) out and Mike Evans (ankle) missing a large chunk of the game. Brady spread the ball around, targeting at least 10 different players.

In total, Brady completed 30-of-46 passes for 369 yards and five touchdowns against a Chargers defense that limited Joe Burrow, Patrick Mahomes and Teddy Bridgewater to below-average numbers the prior three weeks. While Chicago’s pass defense numbers are impressive, the Bears haven’t seen a quarterback of Brady’s caliber this season, so McClure is trusting him as a centerpiece for his NFL DFS lineups on Thursday.

Part of McClure’s optimal NFL DFS strategy for Buccaneers vs. Bears includes banking on Chicago running back David Montgomery. He struggled to find room on the ground last week against the Colts, rushing 10 times for just 27 yards. The Bears trailed throughout the game against Indianapolis, which forced Chicago to go to a more pass-heavy attack. Despite that, Montgomery has worked himself into Chicago’s aerial attack, having recorded 30-plus yards receiving in two of his last three games.

That bodes well for Montgomery’s daily Fantasy value on Thursday Night Football, as Tampa Bay has given up four total touchdowns to running backs this season. Lock him in your NFL DFS lineups and look for a big return against the Buccaneers on Thursday.
