Time to Schein: The NBA will resume the 2020 postseason on Saturday
(3:44)

Even with Damian Lillard (knee) done for the postseason and the Blazers facing elimination against the Lakers on Saturday, Portland still has plenty of potential value from a daily Fantasy standpoint. Players like CJ McCollum, Carmelo Anthony and Jusuf Nurkic should get plenty of looks in this matchup. Should you build NBA DFS lineups around those players as they look to extend the Trail Blazers’ season?

And who are the top NBA DFS picks from Magic vs. Bucks, another elimination game, and Rockets vs. Thunder? Before entering any NBA DFS lineups on daily Fantasy sites like FanDuel or DraftKings, be sure to see what Mike McClure has to say. He’s won almost $2 million in his career, and his NBA DFS advice, strategy and players pool can help you crush your selections for Saturday’s slate.

McClure is also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account. This allows him to find the best NBA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NBA DFS player.

McClure rolled through the 2018-19 NBA season, producing multiple lineups that led to huge returns for followers, including as much as 40x on FanDuel and 84x on DraftKings. He saw multiple huge cashes again early in the 2019-20 NBA season and got 2020 off to a blistering start with his optimal lineup returning at least 7x on DraftKings on three of the first five days of the new year. He’s returned 4x or more multiple times since that point. Anybody following him has seen huge returns.

On Tuesday, McClure was all over Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard as one of his core lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel. The result: Leonard filled the stat sheet with 32 points, seven rebounds, four assists and a steal — returning over 50 points on DraftKings. Anybody who built lineups around him was well on the way to a strong return.

Now, he’s turned his attention to Saturday’s NBA DFS slate. Head to SportsLine to see his optimal NBA DFS picks.

McClure’s top NBA DFS picks for Aug. 29

For Saturday’s NBA playoff slate, McClure is high on Blazers guard CJ McCollum at $8,100 on DraftKings and $7,200 on FanDuel. Often overshadowed by Lillard, McCollum has put up plenty of impressive numbers recently. He’s averaged 20 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals against the Lakers in this series.

His best performances came in Game 3 when he recorded 28 points and eight rebounds — returning over 50 points and almost 7x value on DraftKings. With Lillard (knee) done for the year, McCollum is set to carry the scoring load for Portland in this matchup, making him one of the must-roster NBA DFS picks at his price.

Part of his optimal NBA DFS strategy includes rostering Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander at $7,700 on FanDuel and $7,400 on DraftKings. Oklahoma City takes on Houston in the matchup with the highest over-under of the day from William Hill at 226.5 points. Over the past three games in this series, Gilgeous-Alexander has averaged 24 points, 8.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists.

Despite those strong numbers, he’s still comes at a moderate price in the NBA DFS player pool on Saturday, making him a smart choice for NBA daily Fantasy lineups.
