Warren Sapp : Former Raiders DT charged with domestic violence

Warren Sapp has just been charged with 3 counts of domestic violence stemming from an incident in Las Vegas, TMZ Sports reports.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame defensive tackle faces three charges of domestic violence after an altercation with his longtime girlfriend in Las Vegas last weekend. According to the police report obtained by the New York Daily News, Sapp is accused of biting and stomping on his girlfriend’s head.

The police report said Sapp, who starred at the University of Miami, threw a margarita at the woman’s face at the M Resort pool. Then, during the ride to the condo, the woman told Sapp to leave the car. Sapp allegedly responded by biting her middle finger.

Once at the condo, the police report said the woman fell to the floor after throwing a belt at Sapp, and Sapp then stepped on her face while wearing sandals, according to a TMZ Sports report.

Sapp is due in court on July 23.
