Valerie Bertinelli put the rumors to rest about her supposed feud with Christina Aguilera, but that doesn’t mean everything’s good between the actress and pop star.
The former wife of Van Halen’s frontman Eddie Van Halen replied, “No, I didn’t have a feud with her.” She then clarified the rumor, “I was a fan at that time, a long time ago, and I went up to [Christina] because she was at a Van Halen concert, and I said, ‘Oh my God, I think you’re a beautiful singer, blah blah blah,’ and she just went like [she made an over-her-head motion], ‘Yah, whatever.’ ”
Valerie added, “She gave me the cold shoulder and I thought, ‘B***h, I’m a fan! You can’t be nice to me?’ You know?”
Andy then asked Valerie if she had met the “Moves like Jagger” songstress since. “I have not. She might have gotten better-but I heard she hasn’t,” the “Hot in Cleveland” actress said.
Valerie previously talked about the encounter during a radio interview in 2008. “I met her, and she was so mean to me,” the 54-year-old actress said of Christina at that time, “And I thought, ‘You know what? Forget you! I don’t need your new album!’ What’s up with that? She’s too young to be blowing people off.”
