Tiger Woods, Amanda Boyd a lie? Woods' agent calls affair rumor a 'complete lie'

Amanda Boyd – Tiger Woods’ agent calls affair rumor a ‘complete lie’.

The agent for PGA Tour star Tiger Woods wrote in an email that a National Enquirer story alleging Woods was having an affair with the now ex-wife of fellow PGA Tour player Jason Dufner is not true.

The Enquirer reported that skier Lindsay Vonn broke things off with Woods because she caught him cheating with Amanda Boyd, who was married to Dufner until earlier this year.

Mark Steinberg sent an e-mail to Fox News saying the story was “absolutely 100 percent false” and a “complete lie and fabrication.”

Here is an excerpt from the Enquirer:

“Even though Tiger dated Lindsey for years, he had a “thing” for Amanda,” a source told THE ENQUIRER. “At first it was just innocent flirting, but earlier this year it became serious.”

In a related story on radaronline.com, they wrote that Woods flew Boyd from Alabama to Seattle for a few days in June while Woods was there to prepare for the U.S. Open at Chambers Bay in University Place, Wash.

Dufner and Boyd were divorced in April, while Woods and Vonn ended their two-year relationship in May.

Woods and former wife Elin Nordegren divorced in 2010 after several stories detailing Woods’ infidelity arose. Woods and Nordegren have two children – daughter Sam who was born in 2007 and son Charlie who was born in 2009.
