In just a few hours time, the UFC will host their latest pay-per-view card of an action-packed 2018.

Headlining UFC 231 is the eagerly-anticipated men’s featherweight title fight between champion Max Holloway and Brian Ortega, which was due to serve as UFC 226’s co-main event.

Holloway vs Ortega takes place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.

UFC 231’s co-main event of the evening will see former women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk face Valentina Shevchenko for the vacant women’s flyweight title.

Victory over Shevchenko will see Jedrzejczyk avenge her three Muay Thai losses to the Kyrgyzstan native and become the first female fighter in UFC history to hold titles in two weight classes.

Also on the card is a light-heavyweight bout between Jimi Manuwa and Thiago Santos and a welterweight match-up between Gunnar Nelson and Alex Oliveira.

The penultimate UFC pay-per-view card of 2018 is without a doubt one of the best shows of the year, making it a must watch.
