Mourinho and Manchester United executive vice-chairman Woodward have been at odds since the summer transfer window.
The Special One was desperate to sign a new centre-back, however, Woodward refused to back his manager.
And according to The Sun, Mourinho now feels he isn’t getting the full backing from United chiefs.
They say the Portuguese was furious on Tuesday after his United squad arrived late before their 1-0 defeat against Juventus – for the second time this season.
Mourinho wanted the Red Devils to have a private escort for the team bus, however, police refused to comply.
United’s players were on the team bus for 70 minutes due to traffic near Old Trafford.
The Red Devils arrived 50 minutes before kick off, much to the frustration of the Special One.
Mourinho opted to walk to the stadium, where he greeted Juve officials in the tunnel.
And Mourinho and his United players are now at odds with Woodward and the Old Trafford board.
An Old Trafford source told the newspaper: “They and a battalion of directors arrived before the team and occupied the tunnel.
“It showed the power and organisation of a big club.
“The players must be relaxed and concentrated before a game.
“They don’t like to be closed in on a bus in the middle of traffic.
“Some players don’t hide any more how unhappy they are with the lack of support from the club.
“How can a club like United not organise security to escort the players. It would cost peanuts.
“The conclusion is that Woodward does not understand football.”
