Manchester United saw the best of Evra during the Frenchman’s playing days, with the 37-year-old spending seven-and-a-half glittering years at Old Trafford.
Recently, the Red Devils hero has been spotted attending matches with Woodward.
And The Sun say club sources are expecting Evra to return – and believe the defender has dropped a big clue.
The Frenchman’s autobiography was due to hit shelves in September.
And the manuscript was finished in time for that to happen.
However, The Sun say Evra’s book has now been put on hold for a third time, until August 2020.
And United sources believe that is down to the player’s desire not to damage his chances of an Old Trafford return.
Meanwhile, Evra recently opened up on his time at United.
And he sensationally revealed he POOED in Gerard Pique’s shoes during their spell at Old Trafford.
“They burned my trainers,” he said.
“It wasn’t funny, it was actually Gerard Pique – and what I have done to him.
“I took his shoes and went into the toilet, and I s*** inside them.”
