Price Is Right : 84-year-old game-show contestant nails a putt, wins herself a car

‘Price Is Right’ – 84-Year-Old Sinks Putt … Wins Car!

The Price is Right contestant drove away with a $16,000 car after sinking a controversial putt in the “Hole in One or Two” game.

After host Drew Carey shows her how it’s done, Margaret lines up her first attempt and misses, but redeems herself and hits it straight into the cup on her final putt.

Granted, both strokes in Friday’s episode of the long-running CBS game show have caused some debate in the online world, since it would not have been allowed on a professional course.

According to Golf Digest, she did what the rulebooks call an illegal “clinching putt,” where the golfer hits the ball with the club from between their legs, which is a “violation of Rule 16-1e: Standing Astride or on Line of Putt.”

Come on folks, lighten up. Let her have her moment.
