Powdered Alcohol Coming : Palcohol Was Approved by Federal Agency

Powdered alcohol coming? Palcohol will be making its US debut this summer.

The Associated Press reports that the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau reversed their earlier decision to ban Palcohol (yes, Palcohol!) and that it will soon be sold under the same standards and regulations that liquihol is sold under.

Palcohol, described as “just a powder version of vodka, rum and three cocktails….with the same alcoholic content” on its site, was originally banned because the government found problems with misrepresentation of ingredients on its labels. The decision to sell Palcohol legally is still pending federal approval, meaning some states may choose to ban it individually for now, but Palcohol founder Mark Philips tells Yahoo he expects that won’t be a problem shortly.

If you’re still confused as to what is happening here, just envision getting drunk off a Pixie Stick this summer, if you can handle that.
