Palm Beach County to Florida deputy: 'No wonder you people get shot'

Dashcam video showing a woman telling a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputy “no wonder you people get shot” has gone viral.

When a Palm Beach County deputy pulled over a Boynton Beach woman for doing 51 in a 20 mph school zone, he probably knew she wouldn’t be happy.

Her verbal display of just how unhappy she was, however, has Sheriff Ric Bradshaw “appalled” and speaking out.

“There’s this trend of disrespect when here’s this deputy trying to save children’s lives and somebody’s got to talk to us like that,” Bradshaw said in a press conference following the Sept. 1 incident.

Bradshaw was so distressed about the turn of events in a routine traffic stop, he released dashcam video of the exchange Wednesday.

“No wonder you people get shot,” Joy Feinberg told the deputy after he issued her a $606 ticket and told her to have a “nice day.”

The video has since gone viral after it was posted to the sheriff’s office Facebook page. It’s had some 2.4 million views and has been shared more than 37,000 times.
