Nick Cave’s son dies after falling from 60-foot cliff.

The 15-year-old son of Australian rocker Nick Cave died Tuesday after tumbling off a 60-foot seaside cliff in Brighton, England, the BBC reported.

Arthur Cave was found with life-threatening injuries at the bottom of the chalk white cliff, and died of his injuries later that night in a nearby hospital, according to the Sussex Police.

Nick Cave and his wife, British model Susie Bick, released a statement, calling their son a “beautiful, happy, loving boy.

While the reason for Arthur’s fall is not yet known, friends have told the BBC he was at the top of the cliff with a friend and they seemed to be having a good time, even posting updates on social media.

The family lives nearby in Brighton. Arthur Cave is survived by a twin brother, Earl.

Cave is an Australian musician, songwriter, author, screenwriter, composer and occasional film actor who is best known as the frontman of the band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
