Nick Cannon's Valentine's date : Cannon Going Out With Eddie Murphy's Ex-Wife

Nick Cannon and Nicole Murphy Caught on a Romantic Valentine’s Day Date! Last week it was reported the pair grabbed a bite to eat at upscale restaurant Bagatelle in New York City’s Meatpacking District.

And according to Page Six, the lovebirds’ fledgling romance might be heating up, as they were spotted out enjoying dinner at Tavern on the Green on the most romantic day of the year.

“The couple showed up at 11 p.m., when most other diners were already gone,” an alleged eyewitness told the outlet. “They were holding hands across the table, and gazing at each other throughout their meal.”

Tavern on the Green is an iconic Central Park restaurant renowned for its incredibly romantic setting.

Apparently Nick and Nicole were so enamoured with each other during their meal, Nick didn’t even notice when a song by his estranged wife Mariah Carey played in the background.

“Neither paid attention. They seemed very happy together,” the source noted.

The 34-year-old star split from Mariah last summer after six years of marriage, having reportedly filed for divorce in December. The former couple share three-year-old fraternal twins Moroccan and Monroe.

Nicole was previously married to comedian Eddie Murphy from 1993 to 2006 and she is mother to five of his children. After her marriage with Eddie ended, she was engaged to NFL player-turned-talk show host Michael Strahan for five years, before calling it quits with the Live with Kelly and Michael star last August.

Nicole, 47, has previously spoken about how much she is enjoying her love life currently.

“I am having fun right now being single,” she told the New York Post just last week. “I am not dating anyone special, but I do love being in a relationship.”
