Nicholas Brendon: Former 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' actor Arrested Over Domestic Dispute

Nicholas Brendon, best known for playing lone regular guy Xander Harris on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has had his fair share of hardships since the popular show wrapped in 2003. Now, he’s facing serious charges after a domestic dispute with his girlfriend.

Police in Saratoga Springs, New York, arrested the 44-year-old Thursday after he allegedly attacked his girlfriend while trying to keep her from leaving a hotel room.

I have a feeling she isn’t his girlfriend anymore.

She also alleges Brendon took her car keys and threw her cell phone into the street.

The actor, who played Xander Harris on “Buffy” from 1997 to 2003, and Kevin Lynch on “Criminal Minds” from 2007 to 2014, has been arrested four times in the past 12 months, according to Fox News. This time he’s facing possible charges of robbery, criminal mischief and obstruction of breathing, according to the Associated Press.

Saratoga Springs police Lt. Bob Jillson told Fox News that alcohol was involved, but he wasn’t sure Brendon was intoxicated. He was released after posting $20,000 in bail.

Brendon has been charged with a number of crimes this past year, including property damage and public intoxication. He announced in June he was entering rehab to deal with depression and substance abuse issues.
