Megyn Kelly Says Her Duggar Interview “Won’t Be A Cross-Examination”.
Tomorrow, Fox News host Megyn Kelly will be grilling Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, who are granting their first TV interview since the molestation scandal involving son Josh Duggar broke last month.
During yesterday’s broadcast, Kelly announced that viewers can expect her to be “tough but fair” when she interviews the couple, but warns that we shouldn’t expect a “cross-examination” when she speaks with the 19 Kids and Counting parents.
“I’ll take that reputation as a tough but fair journalist,” she told viewers on Monday. “However, this isn’t going to be a cross-examination of a family. It’s going to be an interview. I want to hear their story. And I think America wants to hear their story now.”
As for what will and won’t be discussed, she added that “nothing is off limits,” although there may be a big “but” attached to that statement.
“I don’t plan on getting into the specific details about what was done,” she explained, “because my understanding is the victims don’t want to discuss that either.”
You can catch Megyn Kelly’s interview with the Duggars on tomorrow’s edition of The Kelly File, airing at 9 p.m. ET on Fox News.
