La'el Collins : Paternity test shows Collins not the father of murdered pregnant woman's child

La’el Collins may have inched closer to beginning his NFL career now that a paternity test proved he is not the father of an unborn child who died as the result of a shooting April 24.

ESPN reporter Josina Anderson reported the news first and added that “Collins passed A polygraph test administered by an independent investigator in connection with Mills’ case.”

Brenton Mills also passed away over the weekend meaning two lives were lost in this senseless killing.

Mills was murdered in Baton Rouge and Baton Rouge police wanted to interview Collins, maintaining that he was not a suspect in the murder.

After sliding completely out of the 2015 NFL Draft, Collins met with Baton Rouge police on Monday and answered all of their questions.

Multiple NFL teams have already expressed interest in Collins as an undrafted free agent, including Buffalo, Miami, New England, and numerous others.

Expect things to really pick up with NFL clubs in the near future.
