Johnny Manziel Hit Girlfriend: Browns quarterback could face NFL discipline for domestic incident

Johnny Manziel Hit Girlfriend? Just when things were looking better for Browns QB Johnny Manziel earlier in the season, things have taken a much different turn since then.

With reports that Manziel was engaged in an argument with his girlfriend while driving on a highway, and with the audio of the 911 call Colleen Crowley placed to authorities being released, it appeared things couldn’t get much worse.

But now police reported that Crowley claimed Manziel hit her during the highway dispute.

This per TMZ Sports:

Johnny Manziel’s girlfriend Colleen Crowley told police the Cleveland Browns QB hit her a “couple times” during their domestic dispute last week and admits they had been boozing earlier in the day … this according to the police report.

As we previously reported, the Avon Police Dept. in Ohio responded to reports of a domestic dispute between Manziel and Crowley on Monday. When they arrived, Crowley had an abrasion on her left arm.

In the report, obtained by TMZ Sports, cops say Crowley told them Johnny had shoved her head against the glass of the car during an argument and then stated, “Mr. Manziel hit her a couple times in the car.”

Police took photos of Crowley’s injury, but they say the “friction burn” on her wrist was from the quarterback grabbing her wrist to keep her inside of his vehicle.

TMZ also reported that Manziel was not drunk as determined by police, who eventually let the two leave together.
