John Goodman is the talk of the BFI London Film Festival when he arrived on the red carpet showing off a dramatic weight loss.
Once tipping the scales at a sizeable 400lbs, John – who is best known for his roles in films such as Big Lebowski and Raising Arizona – stunned fans at the premiere with his new appearance.
The 63 year old looked healthier than ever since shedding the pounds over the last 12 months.
John has previously spoken about his weight struggles and talked openly about fears for his health back in 2010.
“I’d lose 60 pounds every spring, and then I got too fond of the barley corn and I’d just start missing it too much,” he said on David Letterman’s Late Show.
“And then it would just screw everything up. I’d gain it all back and then some every year.
“I’m not going to look like Paris Hilton or anything like that. It’s going to be an ongoing process for the rest of my life.”
And earlier this year, the star spoke to the Guardian about his fitness and how having knee surgery in 2014 – after years of strain from unhealthy living and weight gain – he was living a much healthier life.
We can’t get over how great he looks!
