Holly Rowe: ESPN reporter is undergoing surgery for a new tumor

Holly Rowe says she is undergoing surgery to remove a tumor.

Holly Rowe announced Tuesday, through a statement released by ESPN, that she is having surgery to remove a second tumor.

“In the coming days, I will know more about what potential additional steps I may take to address this situation,” the statement read. “I am very grateful for the support of my bosses at ESPN, who are fully behind me as I take the time to beat this, as well as the incredible connections to The V Foundation.

“I hope to be back at work soon doing what gives me so much joy in life.”

Rowe has worked for ESPN since 1998 as a sideline reporter covering college football, college basketball, the NBA, and the WNBA.
