Georgia Death Row Inmate Massive Last Meal : Kelly Renee Gissendaner, wants huge last meal before lethal injection

A Georgia Death Row Inmate’s Massive Last Meal Includes 2 Cheeseburgers, Cornbread and Popcorn.

Kelly Renee Gissendaner, who was convicted of murdering her husband in 1997, will become the first woman to be executed in the U.S state of Georgia in seventy years when she receives a lethal injection on February 25.

So, what exactly has she requested?

Well, the 46-year-old has asked for *deep breath*…

… Cornbread with a side of buttermilk, two Burger King Whoppers with cheese, two large orders of fries, cherry vanilla ice cream, popcorn, a salad with boiled eggs, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, carrots, cheese and Newman’s Own buttermilk dressing and lemonade.

The meal is estimated to contain around 4,200 calories – more than double the 2,000 recommend daily allowance for a woman.

Meanwhile in Texas, there’s been a ban on death row meals since 2013.

Convicted murderer Lawrence Russell Brewer requested two chicken fried steaks, a triple-meat bacon cheeseburger, fried okra, a pound of barbecue, three fajitas, a meat lover’s pizza, a pint of ice cream and a slab of peanut butter fudge with crushed peanuts.

However once the food arrived he refused to eat it, and death row prisoners have been denied special last meals ever since.
