Duchess Kate is getting the jump on 2016 with a haircut that’s poised to become one of the most popular styles of the coming months.
Kate Middleton had a new look for her turn as a trader at ICAP Charity Day with Prince William, doing her best to broker in a recycled power suit and with her glossy brown locks cut a few inches shorter. Falling just below her shoulders, the stylish royal had her signature bouncy blowout with her bangs swept to the side.
Kate looked as radiant as ever as she showed off her sleek new ‘do, which also features some added layers and is parted just off to one side.
While the mother of two has been sporting a chic fringe in recent months, it seems that she has been slowly growing it out. At the charity event, her fringe was parted just off the middle and swept to the side, adding to the gorgeous layered effect.
The duchess was as stylish as ever for the charity event, in a dark teal L.K. Bennett suit teamed with a pair of black pumps.
William and Kate took part in the charity event held at ICAP, where they met brokers and charity representatives on a tour of the offices before having a go at closing a few deals themselves in a bid to raise money for charity, with guidance from ICAP staff, of course. They were joined by other famous faces including Samantha Cameron and actor Jeremy Irons.
The night before, the royal couple were spotted heading to Buckingham Palace for a diplomatic reception hosted by the Queen. The duchess was dazzling as she opted for the intricate Cambridge Lover’s Knot tiara – a favourite of Diana, Princess of Wales.
William’s mother received this particular tiara as a wedding gift from the Queen in 1981. The tiara was created in 1914 for Queen Mary and features pearls suspended from diamond love knots; however, for her wedding, Diana wore the Spencer family tiara .
