Dez Bryant went on a profanity-laced tirade in the Dallas Cowboys locker room Sunday night in response to a Vine video that allegedly showed him making derogatory remarks about a Seattle Seahawks player who had been knocked unconscious.
The Vine was created by Marcus Sullivan, who has a verified Twitter account. Sullivan, a Fox26 digital reporter, posted, ” #DezBryant after the #Seahawks #RicardoLockette was knocked out of the game “That’s what the F He gets” smh!”
“I won’t ever, ever, ever, ever wish bad on a player that’s been knocked down. C’mon, man. Stop with the bulls—,” said Bryant, dressed in football pants and shower shoes. “Not once did I say that’s what you get. I got on one knee and prayed for that man.
“I got on one knee and prayed for him. C’mon, man. Don’t put clips together and do that.”
Bryant was asked if the Seahawks accused him of saying that about Lockette.
“It didn’t have nothing to do with [Lockette],” Bryant responded when asked what was said on the video. “I swear on my daughter’s soul I would never in my life do that to anybody. I could’ve been talking about something completely …
“I’m too busy trying to break it up, trying to get our players back. I’m telling Richard [Sherman] and Earl [Thomas] y’all get your players back. I’m talking to the officials more than anybody.”
Dez Bryant threatened to stop speaking to the media this season.
