Damore'ea Stringfellow and Ole Miss' Elston arrested for disorderly conduct

Safety Trae Elston and wide receiver Damore’ea Stringfellow were arrested in Oxford just past midnight on Thursday, according to Hugh Kellenberger. Both were slapped with a charge of disorderly conduct and Elston was also charged with resisting arrest.

Elston played in 12 games last season, finishing with 59 tackles and an interception. Stringfellow is a transfer from Washington who sat out last season because of NCAA transfer rules. Stringfellow left Washington after pleading guilty to two counts of assault and one count of mischief after an incident in February.

Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze says in a statement that “we are gathering facts on the matter.”

The Jackson (Miss.) Clarion-Ledger first reported the arrests.
