College Football Playoff rankings 2014 : Alabama Remains No. 1

No Changes To Top 4 Of College Football Playoff Rankings, After a week of few matchups of ranked teams and even fewer upsets, for the first time the new College Football Playoff Rankings announced Tuesday kept the same top four teams as in the previous week.

The top remained unchanged.

Alabama held onto its No. 1 ranking for the second straight week entering the 6:45 p.m. Saturday visit from Auburn. The top four remained unchanged with Oregon behind Alabama, followed by Florida State at No. 3 and Mississippi State fourth.

TCU, for the second straight week, was the first team out of the bracket with Ohio State sixth.

Auburn slipped one spot to No. 15 in this week’s rankings.

Ole Miss, the only team to beat Alabama, fell out of the top 10 after losing at Arkansas on Saturday. The Rebels went from No. 8 to No. 19 after the shutout in Fayetteville.
