Chris Stigall Cancer - Autdio : Philly radio host mocks Phillies fan who has cancer

Chris Stigall Mocked Phillies Fan Battling Cancer, We generally don’t dive too deep into the world of talk radio because quite frankly, it’s hazardous to our health. But in this situation, we felt like we had to make an exception.

Ellen hosted 23-year-old New Jersey cancer patient Julie Kramer, in a segment about inspirational women. The diehard Phillies fan was greeted by Chase Utley carrying Phillies gear and received an invite to any game next season.

When Kramer’s friends found out Ellen DeGeneres was interviewing inspiring women, they campaigned on social media to get her on the show. Kramer was given not only an interview on the Ellen DeGeneres Show but also a $10,000 check and a basket full of Phillies swag — presented by second-baseman Chase Utley.

Utley asked Kramer, “Would you be my guest next year to as many games as you want?” and she accepted the invitation with delight on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, which aired Monday. The next morning, Chris Stigall poked fun at Kramer’s cancer and enthusiasm for Utley, eliciting laughs from his coworkers in the process (audio below).

First, Chris Stigall mentioned that Utley might not even be on the Phillies’ roster next year: “You know, Chase Utley’s probably not even going to be around to take the cancer patient to the games. It’s a nice invite, but he won’t even be there.

“Plus, it’s probably terminal what that woman has. You think she’s going to live through an entire season?”
