Chris Christie Chair - Video : New Jersey governor falls out of his chair before interview

Chris Christie once fell off his chair during a studio radio appearance. We know this now because there is video of it.

The footage was actually taken last year, but SportsRadio 94WIP in Philadelphia just released the embarrassing clip as revenge on Christie after the New Jersey governor cheered the Dallas Cowboys and hugged owner Jerry Jones during a game earlier this month.

Philadelphia Eagles fans don’t like Dallas Cowboys fans. For that matter, neither do fans of the New York Giants, who play in Christie’s state. Radio host Angelo Cataldi, upset about Christie’s rooting interests, debuted the chair clip on Friday during 94WIP’s Wing Bowl event.

Christie’s awkward celebration with Jones went viral a few weeks ago, and now the falling-from-chair footage is doing the same. In the clip, Christie is seen coming into the radio studio and trying to sit down. He falls to the floor. It’s funny, because people falling is always funny (as long as they’re not hurt).

If Christie officially throws his hat in the ring and runs for the Republican presidential nomination, it will now be slightly easier. On Friday, Mitt Romney officially dropped out of the race. Until Christie goes on the campaign trail, we’ll just keep watching this clip on a loop.
