Brady suspension : NFL Superstar is About to Get Some Bad News About His Role in ‘Deflategate’ Scandal

Tom Brady to be suspended for role in Deflategate, report says

Tom Brady will likely become the highest profile NFL player ever to be suspended by the league in the wake of the Deflategate scandal and the damning Wells Report.

Sources inside Gillette Stadium have told Mike Giardi of Comcast SportsNet New England that they are “fearful of a lengthy suspension” for quarterback Tom Brady.

According to Giardi, that suspension could “perhaps be in the six- to eight-game range” after Ted Wells’ findings on Deflategate were released in a 243-page report on Wednesday.

Wells’ report concluded it was “more probable than not” that Patriots personnel took part in conduct violating and circumventing the NFL’s playing rules, bringing Brady’s potential knowledge of the underinflating operation to the forefront.

Brady’s agent, Don Yee, has said his client did not have any knowledge of the situation.

Brady would have the right to appeal or have his issued suspension cut down, should he be disciplined by the league.
