Billy Boyd The Last Goodbye: Listen To Billy Boyd Sing Out The Hobbit With Final Credits Song

Billy Boyd The Last Goodbye, Pippin will return in The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies. Or, at the very least, he’ll appear on the soundtrack. Actor Billy Boyd has returned to Middle Earth to lend his pipes (yet again) to the drums of war. And you can listen to his entire song right now.

The aptly titled tune, “The Last Goodbye,” will play over the end credits. And perhaps this will be the very last sweeping song we get from Peter Jackson’s J.R.R. Tolkien years.

The Scottish actor/musician realized that he wanted to put an exclamation point on Howard Shore’s score, and encapsulate the entirety of Jackson’s six-part screen journey. Boyd said, “We focused on not just the final installment, but more so on this 10-year epic adventure. A song to sum up the six movies.”
