Bill DeMott : WWE developmental trainer resigns from position

Bill DeMott has resigned as the head trainer at NXT, the developmental brand for the WWE. The move comes after multiple former talents accused him of mistreatment and bullying.

Bill DeMott wrote on Twitter:

“I deny the recent allegations made about me, however, to avoid any embarrassment or damage to the WWE, I’ve decided to step down from my role effective immediately.”

DeMott’s resignation came after letters surfaced from former NXT wrestlers citing physical and mental abuse, claims that WWE said were investigated when they were brought up years ago.

However, as the week progressed, more and more former NXT wrestlers and employees made allegations towards DeMott, leading to his resignation.

It has been reported that Matt Bloom (Jason Albert, Albert, Tensai) has been named Interim Head Trainer, replacing DeMott.
