Bethenny Frankel, Michael Cerussi Split: 'Real Housewives Of New York City' Star Says She's Single After They Part Ways

Bethenny Frankel, The Real Housewives of New of New York and the businessman have split due to differences in their lifestyles.

“Right now, I’m single,” Frankel revealed, according to People. “I’ve been through a lot with exposing all my personal life so I’m not making any grand statements anymore.”

The talk show host, who recently wrote an advice book entitled “I Suck at Relationships So You Don’t Have To,” also compared her current love life to the one she described in her book.

“I wish that my dating life was as colorful and exciting as it’s written about, but right now I’m kind of at a standstill,” Frankel stated. “I dated this year, I’ve had a lot of different experiences but I have a daughter and I am still married.”

Although the “Bethenny Ever After” star did not outright explain why she and her estranged boyfriend broke up, she may have hinted about the main reason when she said, “I think fame and attention and money does not bring out the best in everybody. I think money, in many ways, is the root of all evil.”

Frankel, who is yet to be officially divorced from husband Jason Hoppy, also stated that she’s not planning on walking the aisle for the second time, reports USA Today.

“I will never get legally married again,” Frankel said. “It doesn’t mean I wouldn’t commit to someone. I’m not jaded, I’m not bitter about love.”

“I think there are amazing guys out there in the world. It’s none of that. I will never, ever be legally married again. Marriage is the Hotel California. You can check out any time but you can never leave,” she added.
