Andy Murray Wedding: Tennis Star Marries Kim Sears

Andy Murray’s gran said the Scots tennis champions wedding to Kim Sears was “fantastic”.

The former Wimbledon champion was cheered by the crowds as he and new wife Kim Sears emerged from Dunblane Cathedral, following their wedding ceremony on Saturday afternoon.

While Andy donned full kilt for the occasion, Kim looked stunning in a Jenny Packham silk chiffon gown decorated with Swarowski crystals.

She topped off the dress with a Swarovski crystal Kalmia floral headdress and three metre long veil.

Earlier, Andy arrived at the cathedral accompanied by brother Jamie and father William, who also donned their kilts for the big day.

According to reports Kim’s outfit features three-quarter length sleeves as well as a long lace veil – while her bridesmaids are all dressed in pink.

The couple are tying the knot in the Dunblane cathedral no less, a trade up from the small chapel that seated 28 they had had their eye on, and then celebrating the reception in a local hotel called the Cromlix House Hotel.

The wedding reception will take place in the Cromlix House Hotel owned by Andy worth £1.8 million and boasting 15 bedrooms.
