Ali Vs Rousey : Ronda Rousey tells Laila Ali that 'I'm around' if she wants to fight - Watch

Ronda Rousey responded to Laila Ali’s recent statement, saying that no woman alive can beat her in a fight, including the undefeated women’s bantamweight champion.

After Ali was asked about the upcoming, boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, TMZ proceeded to ask the retired, boxing champ, if Rousey could defeat her. At first, Ali sidestepped the question by noting that she’s a boxer and Rousey is a “UFC fighter”. But, shortly after, Ali proceeded to argue Rousey couldn’t defeat her because the latter’s “too much smaller.”

Well, not surprisingly the comments have gotten back to Rousey, and when the champ was asked about them while speaking to The Daily Beast, “Rowdy” said this:

“If she wants to take me up on that, I’m around,” Rousey said. “She’s retired and has several kids. I understand why she’d think that because she has a size advantage, but if you saw my last fight it had nothing to do with size or strength at all. That’s not how I beat people. So you can’t count having a size and strength advantage as having a real advantage against me.”

Yes, considering Rousey’s lifetime of Judo experience, tossing bigger opponents through the air likely isn’t an issue. Although, to be fair, Ali didn’t really clarify if she was talking boxing or MMA.

The 37 year-old Ali went 24-0 during her boxing career and hung up the gloves in 2007.

The 28 year-old Rousey, meanwhile, is coming off a 14 second win over Cat Zingano last month, and it remains to be seen when and who she’ll fight next. In the meantime, Rousey is set to star in “Mile 22″ and will begin filming it in the coming weeks.
