Adam Nimoy: Son Of Late Leonard Nimoy To Appear On Episode Of 'Big Bang Theory'

Adam Nimoy, son of Leonard Nimoy, will be appearing on an episode of The Big Bang Theory.

Adam Nimoy will star as himself in an episode next month, and will ask Jim Parsons’s character to appear in a documentary about the late Star Trek icon.

The installment – titled ‘The Spock Resonance’ – will air on November 5, and will also feature regular guest star Wil Wheaton.

Though he never appeared on the sitcom in person, Leonard Nimoy’s Mr Spock has featured in many episodes of The Big Bang Theory – notably in second season episode ‘The Codpiece Topology’, in which Sheldon attends a Renaissance faire dressed as the famous Vulcan.

Leonard passed away at the age of 83 back in February.

Adam Nimoy launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund a new Spock documentary entitled For the Love of Spock in June.

Elsewhere, it was recently announced that Stephen Merchant has landed a guest-starring role on The Big Bang Theory.

The Big Bang Theory airs on CBS.
