49ers fan beat up Vikings fan after monday night football game - Watch

49ers fans beat up Vikings fan in horrifying parking lot brawl video.

The incident occurred post-game in a parking lot outside Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

Cellphone footage of the melee opens with a Vikings fan getting pummelled on the ground as dozens watch. A security guard attempts to thwart the attack before being brushed aside by multiple 49er fans intent on inflicting damage. The disturbance comes to an end 30 seconds later, with one bewildered fan calling out the group that ganged up on the apparent Vikings fan.

“The 49ers won,” the man says. “What the hell is wrong with you guys?”

But a Facebook post by Brandon Cosio later that night attempted to explain what might have sparked the incident.

“The Viking fan in the video and a 49er fan NOT in the video were talking smack to each other, getting into each others faces,” Cosio wrote. “A lot of fans from both sides were telling both people to stop and just walk to their cars.

“The Viking fan shoved his wife into a barrier to try to get to the 49er fan, then at that point the 49er fan walked away from the situation and that’s when the Viking fan may have got a little cocky.

“The Viking fan turned around and addressed everyone behind him (mostly 49er fans). He said, ‘what’s up, any of you f—ers want some?!’

As the overzealous Viking fan turned away a 49er fan tackled him and threw the first punch captured on video.
